The price for installing a standard residential seismic gas shut-off valve (SGSV) is $589.97. This includes the valve itself, materials, necessary bracing, paint, relighting of pilot lights, and a 30-year valve warranty. Standard installation covers most homes with gas pipe sizes from ¾” to 1 ¼”. Larger pipes require commercial valves. Please send pictures of the meter and the surrounding pipe for a quote. Outlying areas may incur a travel surcharge.
